BSA Pack # 223

Pack 223 of Thornton, Colorado

The purpose of The Boy Scouts of America is to provide an activities program for young adults to build character and life skills, to train in the responsibilities of participatory citizenship, to develop personal fitness, to challenge themselves in the outdoors, and to introduce young adults to various vocational and recreational skills.  The Cub Scout program provides boys a pathway to become well prepared for Boy Scouts, and in addition, to grow strong family bonds.

Pack 223 is a Cub Scout Pack chartered by NuLine Manufacturing and run by enthusiastic participatory families.  We serve the North Thornton and Northeast Broomfield areas of the Denver Colorado area. We also serve the Hunters Glen and Arapahoe Ridge Elementary School zone areas, but any family from any area is welcome to join our pack.

Our Mission is to follow the BSA program by holding regular meeting, encouraging rank advancement, providing regular opportunities for the completion of the rank requirements, holding monthly outings as appropriate to the activities of each rank, attending yearly summer camps and activities, maintaining a close connection to Cub Scout and Boy Scout ideals, and providing fun activities for your boys to participate in throughout the year.

Our Pack Meetings are generally held on the Third Tuesday of each month, August through May, from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM at Century Middle School.
